The Limb Salvage Centre at the BrillStone Building

The Limb Salvage Centre at the BrillStone Building was created in 2001 in response to an ever growing need to care for patients with acute and chronic wounds that have not responded to conventional care. The Centre offers a wide array of wound care treatments and protocols and a multi-specialty dimension that only a comprehensive wound care center can offer.

Our Centre staff has all advanced specialty training in wound care and is at the forefront in research into new and better treatments for these growing problems.

Our group has publications available on our advanced techniques in diagnosis and treatment of these potentially limb threatening wounds and infections.

Our philosophy at the Limb Salvage Centre is that each wound and each patient is unique and although there are wound care algorhythms that we follow, each treatment protocol is individually tailored to the patient.
